What is a Conference Interpreter?
Conference interpreters differ from face to face interpreters in that they translate from one language into another simultaneously, i.e. live. A consecutive interpreter will listen, wait for someone to pause and then translate. A conference interpreter both listens and translates at the same time - a highly skilful job.
Do I need only one Conference Interpreter?
Conference interpreters, Danish or any other language, will only work in pairs. This is due to the mentally exhausting nature of the work. If only one conference interpreter were to work alone they would become very tired and very confused very soon. As a result conference interpreters must be booked in pairs.
